CODE OF CONDUCT
Singspiration Community Choir endeavours to be a caring and inclusive community, believing in building up its members using positive methods to build self esteem and positive wellbeing.
We ask for members to be punctual for rehearsals as disturbances may cause a negative reaction from other members. All rehearsals start at 7.30pm so we would ask that you are at your venue and ready to go a couple of minutes beforehand.
Responding to your choir leader – we understand that you may not have come across some of our teaching methods before. What we do ask is that you jump in, have a go and find the positive side in every part of the sessions. It’s the old fashioned saying – ‘You get out whatever you put in!’
Singspiration Community Choir expects its members to respect all staff and members Therefore we ask that you are co-operative and friendly at all times with your Choir leader and fellow members. Any negative behaviour towards any of our staff or other members will result in immediate cancellation of membership.
As users of various social media pages we are bound by the Malicious Communications Act and the Communications Act 2003. We have to uphold the regulations stipulated by these platforms and anyone found to be in breach of these may be liable to prosecution. Singspiration Community Choir will not be held financially responsible for any misconduct on their social pages.
Stewart Bell Ltd is committed to keeping choirs running at all costs. However, if a choir is forced to close indefinitely mid-term, and alternative arrangements cannot be made, a pro-rata refund will be made to the members if their membership cannot be transferred to another choir.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
Stewart Bell Ltd. and Singspiration Community Choir cannot be held responsible for damage to personal belongings or persons when attending rehearsals or other linked events. Any personal property brought to the sessions are the sole responsibility of the choir member.
Travel arrangements are the responsibility of individual members unless otherwise pre-arranged by Stewart Bell Ltd.
