Do I have to come on to the taster on my own?
We understand trying something new by yourself can be daunting especially if you haven’t done it before. If you want to bring someone with you that’s absolutely fine. They will, however, also need to register for the taster sessions as well.

I don’t have a computer/ Email address
Don’t worry. Just call the Singspiration HQ and we can register your details for you. If you don't have an email address we will need to take your details manually and you can pay using your credit or debit card.
Do I have to audition?
There are no auditions. Our choirs are open to anyone and everyone, regardless of age or ability.
I can’t read music!
No problem. All our songs are taught by ear with the words projected onto a screen. There are also rehearsal tracks and music with the lyrics printed on for you to practice with in the Members area.
How old do I have to be to join?
The choir is open to anyone over the age of 18. Anyone between the ages 11 and 16 can come as long as they are accompanied by a parent or guardian. 16 – 18yr olds may come without supervision at the discretion of the choir leader.
What sort of songs do you sing?
All our songs are fun, upbeat and contemporary songs. Everything from Pop, Gospel and many other musical genres.

How much is Singspiration Community Choir?
The monthly subscription is £25.00. This works out at £8.33 per rehearsal based on 36 rehearsals per year. If you choose to pay for a term at a time the cost is £103 per term.
How do I pay?
Membership to the choir is paid via Standing Order. We can help you by sending instructions on how to set this up so that you don’t have to worry it.
What does the membership subscription cover?
The subscription covers everything from rehearsal room rental, administration costs to copyright for music, backing tracks and any rehearsal materials we provide. Most importantly, it covers the cost of the brew facilities at rehearsals!
When do you rehearse
We rehearse during school term time, a total of 36 weeks. In between there will be extra workshops and concerts that you will be able to join in with.
What happens if I miss a rehearsal?
Don’t worry! If you can’t make your normal rehearsal evening, you can catch up by coming along to any of the other rehearsal venues in the week.

There is no pressure to perform with the group. However, the best way to get the most out of your experience is to jump right in and have a go. There will be plenty of people willing to show you the ropes.
This is your area of the website where you will be able to receive messages from Singspiration HQ and download music rehearsal tracks to practice between rehearsals. You will have access to all these facilities once your full membership is set up.
How do I log in?
When you register for your full membership on the website you will be asked to provide basic details and create your own login using your email address and a memorable password.
Forgotten password
When you click onto the login page click the 'Lost password' link and follow the instructions to reset your password.
I've changed my address!
No problem, either give the office a call (07740 593979) or select My Profile on your members homepage. From there you will be able to edit any of your personal details.
How do I download my rehearsal tracks
This is really simple! When you have logged into the Members Area click on the dropdown menu and select Download Centre. On this page you will be able to see all the songs your choir are currently singing. Just select your part by clicking the relevant button. A separate window will open containing the music player so you can playback your part and practice to your heart's content. Under each music button there is also a PDF link to a simple music score that has all your song lyrics on.
Where do I get my lyrics from?
Due to copyright restrictions, we can’t produce separate lyric sheets. However, you can download a copy of the music from the Download Centre in your members area. These copies are paid for as part of your subscription fee for you only.
Uniform
Performance T-shirts can be ordered from the Singspiration office, or you can speak to your choir leader at rehearsal.
Whilst we would prefer that you stay with us forever, we understand that everyone’s circumstances change. To cancel your membership please contact the Singspiration office and we will make sure that your subscription is up to date and cancel your online access. If your circumstances change and you would like to come back again we will welcome you back with open arms.
